TIMBER APPLICATIONS
Lifewood CCA treated timber can be used for any building application where protection from fungal decay, termite and other insect attack is required. It is particularly suited for applications such as foundation poles, retaining walls and other heavy industrial building, marinas, decking, walkways, benches, outdoor tables and chairs, agricultural and domestic fencing, gazebos and landscaping , where long-term durability and economical performances are priorities.
PROTECTION FOR YOUR TIMBER
Timber used in outdoor environments and in high moisture conditions is prone to attack from decay fungi and termites that can cause strength reduction and eventual failure of wooden structures.
Lifewood CCA pressure treated timber products are ideal for use in situations where protection from insect attack and biological degradation is required.
Lifewood CCA pressure treated timber is protected from rot, fungal decay and termite attack with Chromate Copper Arsenate, commonly known as CCA. CCA timber preservatives are the most widely used timber treatments in the world and have been used effectively to produce durable and economical outdoor building products for over 60 years. CCA pressure treated timber is also available specifically for use in marine exposure such as marine piling and jetty applications.

-
Do not burn preserved wood
-
Wear a dust mask and goggles when cutting or handling wood
-
Wear gloves when working with wood
-
All sawdust and construction debris should be cleaned up and disposed of after construction
-
After working with the wood wash exposed areas thoroughly
-
Wash work clothes separately from other household clothing before reuse
-
Preserved wood that is visibly clean and free of surface residue should be used for patios, decks and walkways.
