Davids Timber DeterMite® H2F “Blue” treatment is specifically designed for
application to internal framing timber for housing and similar construction where
it is guaranteed* for 25 years to resist termites and borers - now that is great peace
of mind!
DeterMite treated timber is treated in our state of the art treatment plant ensuring that the completed treated framing products are fit-for-purpose and meet the relevant Australian standards. DeterMite is a dual action preservative repelling termites, acting as an effective insecticide. DeterMite active ingredients are extremely stable and are able to be exposed to weather during normal periods of construction, however, Determite H2F should not be used in permanently external exposed environments. For exposed timber applications use any of our treated products which have a “Hazard Class” rating of H3 and above.
The Hazard Class rating of H2F used for DeterMite treatment indicates that it is
only to be used South of the Tropic of Capricorn, for framing situations North
of the Tropic use timber treated to Hazard Class H2 and above including LOSP
Optimum H3.
